What is the attire for the reception?
The attire for our wedding is Black Tie. We kindly ask guests to dress in formal evening wear such as tuxedos or dark suits for gentlemen, and floor-length gowns or elegant dresses for the ladies.
Does black tie attire need to be worn to the church ceremony?
While you are more than welcome to, it is not required to wear your black tie attire to the church ceremony. There will be plenty of time between the ceremony and cocktail hour to change if you'd like!
Are kids invited to the wedding?
While we absolutely adore your little ones, our special day will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a night off to relax and celebrate with us!
Is there parking available for both the church ceremony and the reception?
There is street parking for the church ceremony at St. Catharine Church in Spring Lake, New Jersey on Essex Avenue as well as perpendicularly on 3rd Avenue. For the reception at Ashford Estate in Allentown, New Jersey, there is complimentary valet parking available.
What time does the cocktail hour and reception begin?
Cocktail hour at the venue begins at 6:00 p.m., however, guests are welcome to arrive as early as 5:30 p.m. Our formal reception will follow at 7:00 p.m.
Is the after party mandatory?
It is entirely optional, but if you're in the mood to keep the celebration going, we would absolutely love for you to join us. The more the merrier!
Will transportation be provided?
There will be complimentary transportation provided from the Hilton Garden Inn in Hamilton to The Ashford Estate in time for cocktail hour, as well as back from the venue to the hotel before and after the after party. Once you receive your invitation in the mail, please specify if you need transportation on the RSVP response card.
Can I bring a plus-one?
If your invitation includes a plus-one, it will absolutely be noted. Otherwise, we kindly ask that any requests be discussed with us ahead of time. Thank you for understanding!
How do I RSVP?
Formal invitations will be sent closer to the wedding date and will include a personal response card. We kindly ask that you return it by the date listed so we are able to plan accordingly.
What should I do in between the church ceremony and reception?
We encourage you to explore the town of Spring Lake, New Jersey as they have a lovely main street and you are only minutes from the beach. Otherwise, feel free to check in at the hotel and freshen up for a fun night of spending quality time with friends, family, and the newly wed couple!
